Serzh Sargsyan Travels to Zagreb
The President of the Republican Party of Armenia and the third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, has today departed on a working visit to Zagreb, Croatia, where he will participate in the European People's Party (EPP) Congress taking place from November 19-21.
Approximately 2,000 participants from 40 countries have been invited to the EPP Congress, along with representatives of the EU leadership, political leaders from non-EU countries, and heads of European parties.
The congress will elect a new president and presidency for the EPP. Sargsyan is scheduled to deliver a speech at the congress and will also attend the EPP summit taking place on the evening of November 20.
During his visit, a number of working meetings are planned with delegations from sister parties. The Republican Party delegation also includes Vice President Armen Ashotyan.
