Andranik Khovanisyan: It's False That I Pose a Threat to Armenia's Security

Andranik Khovanisyan, an expert at the 'Orbeli' Center of the Public Relations and Information Center of the Prime Minister's Office, writes:

“To the Armenian people and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan: I regret to inform you that the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia is disseminating false information stating that my entry into Armenia is closed because I pose a threat to the country’s security. I declare that this information is absolutely false and has no relation to my persona.

I appeal to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the Armenian people, stating that if the ban on my entry into Armenia is lifted, I am ready to return to Armenia on the first available flight. If the National Security Service can prove that I pose a threat to Armenia and the Armenian people, or that I have ever committed any crime directed against the Armenian statehood, let them arrest me and prosecute me according to the law. Otherwise, I can conclude that the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia is undertaking actions that serve not the Armenian people and the Republic of Armenia, but the interests of our enemy Azerbaijan and its people.

Those who know me understand that I could never do anything against the interests of my Homeland, the Republic of Armenia.”

It is worth noting that we earlier reported that the expert's entry into Armenia was prohibited by the Prime Minister's Office, citing that Andranik Khovanisyan poses a threat to the country's security.
