Video: One Injured in Fire at the Back of the National Assembly Building

As previously reported by Auroranews.am, a fire broke out in one of the buildings located at the back of the National Assembly (NA) building. According to Shamshyan.com, the fire started on the roof of the security maintenance facility within the NA's administrative area. Minister of Emergency Situations Felix Tsolakyan has arrived on the scene, along with a large number of firefighters.

A significant number of firefighters and rescuers are at the site, as well as two dispatched teams of emergency doctors from Yerevan's 1-03 ambulance service, one of which provided first aid on the spot to an injured citizen, who was thereafter transported to the hospital.

Representatives from Gazprom Armenia's Yerevan Branch, headed by General Director Garnik Matevosyan, have also arrived at the scene. An operational group from the Arabkir division of the police is present as well. Investigators from the investigative department of the Arabkir police are working on-site as well. Materials are being prepared in the investigative department regarding the incident to clarify the circumstances that led to the fire.
