We Are Acquiring New Weapons: This is a Significant Step Since the 1990s, Says Vagharshak Harutyunyan

Armenia's military budget has increased by 28 percent, representing a significant rise for conducting combat operations. This was stated today, on November 4, during a press briefing with reporters by former Defense Minister Vagharshak Harutyunyan.

According to him, this is a serious step that enhances the combat readiness of the army since the 1990s.

“Measures are being taken here to raise our combat readiness. You know that new weapons are being acquired, and everything is being done to maintain the balance. The guarantee for preventing the resumption of war is preserving the balance in the region. We have managed to achieve that,” he noted.
