Details on the Health Condition of the Rescuer with Burns
As previously reported, on October 25 at 11:37 AM, firefighters from the Lori regional rescue service noticed a fire in the northern part of Vanadzor, in the Bazum mountain range. During firefighting operations, two firefighters sustained burns of varying degrees.
Firefighter Samvel Vardan Develyan (born in 1997) died on the spot, while Edgar Ishkhan Grigoryan (born in 1992) was transported to the Vanadzor Medical Center. He was later flown via a medical helicopter provided by the Ministry of Health to the Emergency Services base, from where he was taken by an ambulance from the Center for Disaster Medicine to the Republican Scientific Center for Radiology and Burns in Yerevan.
Currently, the injured firefighter's health condition is assessed as stable but serious, according to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. According to doctors, there is a slight positive dynamic in Edgar Ishkhan Grigoryan's health status.
