Firefighter-Rescuer Who Fought Fire Until the End Laid to Rest with Military Honors

On October 28, a burial ceremony was held for firefighter-rescuer Samvel Develyan, who lost his life while performing his duties. Samvel Develyan died from burns sustained during firefighting efforts in the Bazum mountain range of Lori Province.

The ceremony was attended by Minister of Emergency Situations Felix Tsolakyan, Governor of Lori Province Andrey Ghukasian, leadership of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as representatives from regional and municipal authorities.

Samvel Develyan, who fought against the fire until the end, was laid to rest with military honors. His name will forever be inscribed alongside those of other heroes who fell while performing their service.
