Rescuers Halt Firefighting Operations Due to Darkness
On October 27, at 07:30, a firefighting unit from the Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations dispatched 12 firefighters and a duty doctor from the Disaster Medicine Center to the site of a fire that broke out in an area called 'Bndzor' near the village of Pambak. The firefighting operations were halted due to darkness.
Earlier, on October 26, at 07:15, a firefighting team was sent to the scene based on necessity. Rescuers conducted an inspection of the area and found smoldering stumps across a 1-hectare site. From 13:00, staff from the 'Gugark Forestry' branch of the 'Hayantar' State Non-Commercial Organization established surveillance duty.
