New Details on Kidnapping Case in Metsamor

On October 26, at 5:30 PM, a 27-year-old resident of Metsamor reported to the police that an hour and a half earlier, an acquaintance had called him out of his house under the pretext of buying his 'Mercedes.' On the way to the dealer, near the intersection in Mayisyan village, one of the people who came with the acquaintance punched him in the eye, then forcibly pulled him out of the car, put him in another vehicle, and took him to the fields of Hushakert village.

On the way, along with several other unknown individuals who joined them, they beat him, causing bodily injuries. Through joint operational-investigative measures taken by the police of the Metsamor and Davitashen departments, the identity of the acquaintance has been established—a 38-year-old man from Metsamor. The identities of the other two attackers have also been uncovered; they are 39 and 43-year-old brothers from Shenavan village.

At 11:55 PM, the resident of Metsamor, and an hour later, the brothers were brought to the Metsamor police station and provided explanations. Investigations are ongoing.
