Hand Grenade Discovered in Backyard; Emergency Services on Site

On October 28, at 15:34, the '911' service received a report that a hand grenade was spotted in a plot of land near one of the houses on Sayat-Nova Street in Hrazdan, Kotayk Province.

A firefighting and rescue team was dispatched from the Emergency Situations Ministry's Yerevan Rescue Department, along with the engineering unit of the Civil Defense Forces' collective center.

It was determined that an RGD-5 type hand grenade had been found. Before the deminers reached the scene, the rescuers cordoned off the area and maintained vigilance.
