Citizen Attempts Self-Immolation in Vanadzor

On October 28, at 15:01, the "911" service received a report that a citizen was attempting self-immolation at 2A Banaki Street in the city of Vanadzor, Lori Province. Emergency assistance was required.

A firefighting team from the regional rescue unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. Rescuers retrieved Samvel A. (born in 1953) from a Toyota Isis vehicle and handed him over to the police.
