Burglary at Hotel Room: One Million Dram Stolen

On October 18, the director of a hotel reported to the Erevan police department that two individuals entered the hotel overnight and stole one million dram.

The police stated that the investigative team determined the thieves entered the hotel room through an unlocked door. That same day, a criminal case was initiated.

The criminal investigators from Erevan identified the suspects as two men, aged 49 and 48, residents of Shahumyan and Leningradyan streets in the capital.

On October 26, one of the suspects was detained and taken to the police station, subsequently being presented to the investigative department and arrested. Efforts are underway to locate the second suspect and recover the stolen money. An investigation is ongoing.
