Thieves Rob Female Actor's Apartment in Vanadzor, Stealing Significant Sum of Money

On October 27, a resident of Moscow Street in Vanadzor, Alla Darbinyan, reported to the local police department that a robbery had occurred in her apartment. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, an operational group from the Taroni police department responded to the alarm under the leadership of the acting head of the department and an investigator from the Lori regional investigative department of the Armenian Investigative Committee. A forensic expert from the Lori regional police department also arrived at the scene.

The police and investigators discovered that between 7:00 PM on October 26 and 12:15 AM on October 27, an unknown individual or individuals entered Darbinyan's third-floor apartment (via the balcony) and stole gold items and approximately 2 million Armenian drams from the bedroom.

A criminal case has been initiated by the Lori regional investigative department regarding the incident. According to G. Shamshyan, Alla Darbinyan works as an actress at the Vanadzor State Theatre. The police and investigative department are undertaking necessary operational-search and investigative joint actions aimed at solving the crime and locating the perpetrators as well as the stolen items.
