VIDEO: Kurds in Armenia Protest Against Turkey's Actions
The Kurds in Armenia are holding a protest against Turkey's anti-Kurdish actions.
It is noteworthy that at the beginning of the month, the Turkish army and air force began bombing and shelling the town of Ras al-Ain in northern Syria, which is under the control of Kurdish units. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan declared that the name of the operation is "Peace Spring."
The operation also involved Syrian rebels, with approximately 14,000 insurgents from northwestern Syria relocated to Turkey, where they would join Turkish forces and enter Syria in small groups. They are united under the name "Syrian National Army."
According to Erdoğan, the aim of the "Peace Spring" operation is to "eliminate the terrorism corridor along Turkey's southern border, neutralize Kurdish militants and ISIS units, create a security zone, and establish conditions for the return of Syrian refugees."
