“Whoever has walked alongside Nikol Pashinyan has received a position.” This opinion was expressed today by Gagik Tsarukyan, the president of the Prosperous Armenia party, during a conversation with journalists at the National Assembly, referring to the dismissal of the bills proposed by the Prosperous Armenia party and the Bright Armenia party, by the “My Step” coalition.

“We say there should be a one-stop-shop for investors, so that the investor does not need to go to 20 different places, but can apply through one office where all issues can be resolved. However, this question is being set aside today, and that’s why there are no investments today, and they are not increasing, but rather diminishing,” he emphasized and added, “Everyone thought that the revolution happened, all Armenians from around the world would come and invest money, but where is it? Everyone needs to understand what is necessary for investment: not just empty words but a complete law must be adopted, conditions must be created, and benefits must be provided to the person, not just for some acquaintance to come, then receive papers and be exempt from taxes. The economy will not develop that way. Therefore, we must be able to see, for example, what conditions are in place in Georgia and Belarus; we need to adopt laws and establish regulations that make investors feel secure, strong, and protected, otherwise, wealthy individuals will go to other countries,” he stated.
