Employees of Lydian Armenia File Police Report Against Artyom Martirosyan

Employees of Lydian Armenia have filed a police report, claiming that I have trespassed on private property and there are suspicions of theft and property damage. This was stated by Artyom Martirosyan, the leader of the ArmLand expeditionary group, in a conversation with Tert.am.

“We climb the mountain every week, and this week we decided to ascend Amulsar. When we were just 20 meters away from the summit, we encountered two employees who told us to turn back, saying this is private property. We did not heed their warnings and continued toward the summit. Ignoring the employees and advancing the group was based on the safety of the expedition,” Martirosyan noted, adding that mountains cannot be privately owned and are accessible to everyone.

“The employees of Lydian Armenia have reported to the police that I trespassed on private property. There is suspicion of theft and property damage. The case is currently with the investigator, and I am not aware of what will happen next. The case has not yet entered the court,” he said.
