36-Year-Old Man Charged with Residential Burglary

The Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia's Yerevan Investigative Division for the Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts has uncovered a series of residential burglaries committed by the same individual, following extensive investigative actions.

A 36-year-old man has been charged with the crimes. According to the data obtained by the investigation, in 2019, this individual unlawfully entered various apartments in Yerevan, taking advantage of the fact that the entrance doors were not locked, and committed thefts, causing property damage to citizens.

Through the conducted investigative actions and operational intelligence measures, the identity of the alleged perpetrator has been established. With the combination of gathered evidence, a charge has been filed against the man, born in 1982, under Article 177, Part 3, Clause 1.1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. As a preventive measure, he has been placed in detention. The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
