Why Does the Armenian Army Not Have Its Own Radio Station and Television Channel?

The Public Radio is set to open new radio stations. This was announced a few days ago by the director of 'Radio Aurora,' Mikael Janpoladyan, during a live broadcast on Facebook.

According to Janpoladyan, establishing a quality radio station requires significant funds, and to obtain such funds, Public Radio either needs to cut costs at its existing stations or request financial resources from the state. 'What does Public Radio lack that it is demanding four more stations?' Janpoladyan posed the question and added, 'If funding is to come from the state, I am personally against it. My company pays taxes to the state, and I oppose my taxes being spent this way. It would be better if that money went to the disabled, to the army. There is no demand for additional four radio stations in the country either.' He also raised the question of why none of these frequencies could belong to the Armenian Army.

Today, there is already new information available. For more details, watch the video.
