‘Hraparak’: Arsen Torosyan Increases State Funding for Wife's Medical Center

‘Hraparak’ newspaper reports: “We wrote that Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan increased the state funding for his wife’s MIBS diagnostic center at the beginning of 2019 by 2.5 times compared to the previous year, raising it from 22.72 million drams to 57.04 million drams. Torosyan provided some clarifications at that time, stating that state orders are distributed evenly and that it does not matter that the director of the center is his wife.

However, it turns out that even the uproar has not hindered Arsen Torosyan from making further adjustments to the state order throughout the year, increasing the amount allocated to the center. MIBS is set to receive 71.18 million drams this year, which is 14.14 million drams more than initially planned at the beginning of 2019.
