Russia Bans Fish Exports from Armenian Company

The Russian state agency "Rosselkhoznadzor" has decided to prohibit the import of products from one of the Armenian fish-producing companies into the Russian market. The ban will come into effect from September 5. This was reported by shantnews.am, citing Russian media.

According to the agency's clarification, the ban is due to repeated violations of the EAEU and Russian veterinary and sanitary requirements in the products of the Armenian company "Goytex." The fish produced by the Armenian company was reportedly found to contain a colorant known as "malachite green."
