Minister of Emergency Situations Felix Tsolakyan Receives Iranian Ambassador Seyed Kazem Sajjadi
On August 27, Minister of Emergency Situations Felix Tsolakyan received Seyed Kazem Sajjadi, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Armenia. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The minister expressed his satisfaction with the work done during the ambassador's tenure and noted that Seyed Kazem Sajjadi had created a favorable atmosphere for the effective performance of the next ambassador.
Currently, there are wildfires of various sizes and levels of danger throughout Armenia, which the Ministry of Emergency Situations is successfully managing. The minister stated that, if necessary, Armenia will seek assistance from Iran, remaining committed to the centuries-old friendship and readiness for mutual assistance between the two nations.
He also expressed satisfaction in recalling that the delegation from Armenia's visit to Iran was mutually very effective, particularly noting the charismatic persona of the Iranian president.
Seyed Kazem Sajjadi mentioned that he has warm feelings towards Armenia and the Armenian people and will strive to be useful for Armenian-Iranian friendship wherever he may be in the future.
He thanked the minister for the support provided during the recent floods in Iran and noted that the Iranian leadership is eager to continue the friendship and establish a new quality of relations with Armenia.
At the end of the meeting, the minister, bidding farewell to the ambassador, expressed hope that the new Iranian ambassador would continue the existing good traditions in Armenia.
