«Hraparak». «He was among the Razbiratnys». What kind of students were Serzh Sargsyan and Gagik Beglaryan
«Hraparak» newspaper reports: We inquired with Vladimir Hovsepyan, a professor at the Faculty of Economics of Yerevan State University, who taught Serzh Sargsyan at the Faculty of Humanities, about what kind of student the third president was: “What kind of student was he in the evening faculty? We all knew they came to spend time; we used to say they were leaving. I don’t remember him; there’s that one picture with glasses, that’s about all I remember.”
The professor also recalled another former student, Gagik Beglaryan: “It was September 1; Beglaryan had gone to his school. They talked to the director of that school, who said, 'Gagik Beglaryan was our best student; everyone expected him to solve the problems so they could copy from him.' One day our Myasnik Grigoryan said that Beglaryan was his classmate; one day he didn’t come to class, he was all day among the Razbiratnys in the Agricultural Institute yard.”
