People Without Russian Citizenship Will Not Be Able to Drive Taxis
The Transport and Construction Committee of the State Duma of Russia has developed a draft law that will regulate taxi operations. According to the draft, individuals without Russian citizenship will not be allowed to drive taxis.
Additionally, drivers will undergo a city knowledge certification before being employed. It is noted that taxi fare rates will also be revised. It is emphasized that this is a preliminary version of the draft law, which the State Duma will fully present in the autumn.
