Resignation Applications in the Ministry of Emergency Situations: Minister Provides Clarification

The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports that some employees of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are submitting resignation applications. Employees who contacted "Zhoghovurd" expressed their concerns about working under heavy schedules and receiving a salary of 80,000 AMD, which they claim is insufficient to support their families.

In an interview with the Minister of Emergency Situations Felix Tsolakyan, regarding the discontent among the rescuers, he confirmed that rescuers have been working in emergency situations due to many fires. "Those who work more receive additional payments. We are finalizing a government decision draft that will allow me to increase the salaries of the regular staff. In addition, I provide bonuses equivalent to one monthly salary every quarter. The system is flexible, and all employees are evaluated," the minister assured.
