Wheat Fields Burning in Armavir Province

Wheat fields are burning in two communities of Armavir Province. One fire broke out in the Taronik community, while the second occurred in an area adjacent to the Armavir-Etchmiadzin highway.

Residents of the Taronik community report that about 4 hectares of land are engulfed in flames. They have alerted the Ministry of Emergency Situations about the incident. Approximately ten-year-old trees, mainly buckthorn and fruit trees, have been damaged by the fire.

The fire near the Armavir-Etchmiadzin highway has also spread over about 3 hectares. The fire site is completely shrouded in smoke, making it difficult for residents to approach the area.
