Cases of Cattle Deaths Recorded in Isahakyan Village
In recent days, cases of cattle deaths have been recorded in Isahakyan village, Shirak Province. A total of 10 calves have died across several households, with 6 belonging to one family. Artavazd Arsenyan, the administrative head of Isahakyan community, informed NEWS.am that the cattle were infected with the "Khshkhashuk" disease.
"As a result of the infection, calves under 2 years old have perished, and their meat is not suitable for consumption. Our veterinarian has requested a vaccine from the veterinarian of the neighboring village, and we have already injected 300 livestock. Just yesterday, we received the vaccine from the Veterinary State Service," our interlocutor said.
The administrative head noted that he has informed the head of the consolidated Ani community about the cattle deaths.
