Rescue Teams Extinguish Fires in Approximately 15.2 Hectares of Grasslands

On July 15, the National Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received reports of fires breaking out in various grassland areas across the republic. Specifically, in Yerevan city, fires were recorded in 200 sqm, 1000 sqm, and 800 sqm areas; in the Kotayk province's Abovyan city, a 5-hectare fire; in Yeghvard city, a 5000 sqm fire; in Byureghavan city, a 600 sqm fire; in Kaputan village, a 6-hectare fire; in Verin Ptghni village, a 7000 sqm fire; in Myasnikyan village, a 200 sqm fire; in Aragatsotn province's Ushi village, a 1000 sqm fire; in Oshakan village, a 2500 sqm fire; in Ararat province's Goravan village, a 2000 sqm fire; in Masis village, a 1000 sqm fire; in Shirak province's Maralik city, a 7000 sqm fire; along the Yerevan-Yeraskh highway, a fire affecting approximately 2000 sqm; on the Nor Geghi-Argel highway, a 1-hectare fire; and along the Artashat-Agarak highway, a 1500 sqm fire.

The firefighters have successfully isolated and extinguished these fires.
