Video: Armen Sarkissian, Putin, and Lukashenko at the European Games Closing Ceremony
The President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, who is on a working visit to the Republic of Belarus, attended the solemn closing ceremony of the second European Games on the evening of June 30, alongside Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Tajikistani President Emomali Rahmon, at the Dynamo Stadium in Minsk.
The European Games are held every four years. In the second edition of the games, around 4,000 athletes from 50 countries competed in 15 sports. Armenian athletes achieved remarkable success, winning a total of 11 medals, including 5 gold.
