Passenger with Chickenpox Discovered on Kyiv-Yerevan Flight
A passenger on flight PS-611 from Kyiv to Yerevan was identified with a high fever (38.2°C) and rash by the staff at the border medical and sanitary control point of Zvartnots International Airport on June 28.
The Republic of Armenia's Health and Labor Inspection Authority reported on their Facebook page that the passenger was isolated, and on June 28, he/she was diagnosed with chickenpox. Further treatment and monitoring have been organized.
The Health and Labor Inspection Authority urges passengers from the June 28 Kyiv-Yerevan PS-611 flight to seek medical attention immediately if they experience fatigue, fever, or rash during the maximum incubation period for chickenpox (21 days).
The message indicates that the Health and Labor Inspection Authority has carried out all functions assigned to it by law.
