Etchmiadzin Mayor on Protests Against Her

As previously reported, Etchmiadzin resident Armen Aleksanyan has initiated a sit-in protest in the city's square today. The reason for his protest, as he states, is the behavior of Etchmiadzin Mayor Diana Gasparyan towards the city's residents.

Meanwhile, the mayor presented a different perspective in an interview with ArmLur.am. Specifically, Diana Gasparyan noted that every Thursday is designated for citizen receptions, and she has welcomed everyone regardless of the number of residents.

Regarding the protesting citizen, Diana Gasparyan clarified: “The resident was offered to meet and understand what the issue is. As far as I remember, this citizen has never approached the municipality with any problem or attended a meeting with the mayor.”
