Saakashvili to Participate in Ukraine's Snap Parliamentary Elections
The Ukrainian court has granted the third president of Georgia and former governor of Odesa, Mikheil Saakashvili, the right to reside in Ukraine for five consecutive years, allowing him to participate in the upcoming snap parliamentary elections scheduled for July 21. He announced this via his Facebook page.
“The court has made a fair decision regarding my eligibility to participate in the parliamentary elections. Yet another step towards victory,” Saakashvili stated.
Earlier, Saakashvili had declared that he returned to Ukraine to assist President Volodymyr Zelensky.
