Police Investigates Reports of Selling Fox Cubs

On June 10, the Bazum police department received information from a resident of Vanadzor named Narek about the online sale of fox cubs on the website www.List.am. During the preparation of materials, officers from the Gugark police department discovered that a 78-year-old resident of Gugark village had trapped four fox cubs on his property, which he was keeping in an auxiliary structure next to his house.

Investigations revealed Narek's identity; he is a 27-year-old resident of Vanadzor with no familial ties to the elderly man. Furthermore, the claims that Narek sold a fox cub to a resident of Ararat province were found to be untrue. Investigations are ongoing.
