Candidate Involved in Criminal Cases Wins: Vahe Gevorgyan
Vahe Gevorgyan, a member of the 'Citizen's Decision' Social-Democratic Party and a member of the Yerevan Council, wrote on his Facebook page: 'The error has come from the law on political parties; that was a fundamental mistake when those caught in crimes and election fraud, as well as with mob connections, were given the opportunity to remain in politics.
The next mistake is in the staffing policies, as in both Kapan and Abovyan, almost no one knew the candidates or did not have 'authority.' Meanwhile, the large capital of the criminal oligarchy and the dependence of local residents on them played their part. Another error is the feeling of social justice that works subconsciously over time on society, each time turning artificial intelligence and high technologies into a cornerstone and an object of praise, pushing social justice and morality into the background. Those who are far from 'robotics' with critical thinking, who make up a significant part of society, who revolted, believe that their era has passed, and continue to cling to fragments of large capital.
I really want us to draw the right conclusions from these mistakes, to understand the deep errors, and not to be guided only by dry numbers. Yes, the elections were not falsified, but justifying democracy in this case is, to say the least, inappropriate. People made their choices for the reasons mentioned above, and this means that it is because of these mistakes that the candidate involved in three criminal cases has won.'
