Abovyan’s Acting Mayor Vahagn Gevorgyan Thanks Supporters for Victory

In the recent mayoral elections held in Abovyan, the leading candidate is the acting mayor, non-partisan Vahagn Gevorgyan, whose main competitor is Grigor Gulyan from the ruling Civil Contract party.

The acting mayor has already expressed his gratitude to his supporters on his Facebook page: “Dear residents of Abovyan, I love you all, and I am proud of each one of you. Thank you to my friends, our team, and our families. Victory!!! Happy International Friendship Day.”

According to the latest data from Vahagn Gevorgyan's election headquarters, the acting mayor has received 8,441 votes, while Grigor Gulyan garnered 8,032 votes.
