Arayik Harutyunyan Discusses Support from Nikol Pashinyan
The newspaper "Jozhouvout" reports that Arayik Harutyunyan, the former Prime Minister of Artsakh and leader of the "Free Homeland" party, addressed the issue of receiving support from Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan for the upcoming presidential elections in a conversation with "Jozhouvout".
“You know, I don't consider it ethically right to discuss this matter now. I can say one thing clearly: all current and future authorities of Artsakh must have warm and coordinated relations with the authorities of Armenia. We are two states, one homeland. Every high-ranking Armenian official should be guided by this principle. This is my firm belief,” Harutyunyan insisted.
Regarding his potential victory, Harutyunyan stated: “I have repeatedly declared that the election campaign should unfold between programs. To what extent my victory is secured will undoubtedly depend on how acceptable the programs I present to the people of Artsakh will be.”
