Arshavir Gharamyan: The 'Sasna Tsrer' Auto Rally Can Be Considered Failed
Artsakh has rejected yet another false agenda. This was stated by the former head of Artsakh's National Security Service, Arshavir Gharamyan, on his Facebook page.
He notably mentioned:
"In recent days, the auto rally organized by the pan-Armenian party 'Sasna Tsrer' (not to be confused with the 'Sasna Tsrer' group) can be considered a failure, as it has faced indifference from the Armenian population of Artsakh, and in some cases has caused anger among residents due to the misuse of car horns by rally participants in the evening hours.
Over four days, the rally organizers spared no effort in executing various provocations to attract attention and artificially create division under the false agenda that 'Artsakh is a region of Armenia.' However, the fact remains that, globally, the local residents did not join the auto rally nor welcome it.
Nevertheless, attempts have been made through various live broadcasts to present the Artsakh people as disconnected from their roots and lacking knowledge of their native language, alongside implementing various provocations. I would like to highlight the provocative statements made around the house of Artsakh Hero Vitali Balasanyan in the city of Askeran, which is inconsistent with the spirit of unity and is highly condemnable.
With the artificial agenda of 'Artsakh is a region of Armenia,' you are deliberately or inadvertently provoking discord and diminishing the Artsakh people's identity. Fellow compatriots, the Artsakh movement has begun for the sake of unification, has fought for unification, and has shed blood for it. The people of Artsakh live with Armenian customs, uphold national traditions, and ultimately represent Armenian culture. You are trying to appear more Catholic than the Pope.
P.S. I express my condolences to the family, relatives, and close ones of auto rally participant Andranik Poghosyan for their bitter loss. May God illuminate his soul."
