Citizen Calls Police to Report Intent of Suicide

On May 28, during the afternoon, an emergency incident took place in the Lori Province.

According to Shamshyan.com, a citizen called the 911 operational management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to report that he was planning to commit suicide by jumping from a bridge near the Vanadzor train station.

Rescuers and police from the Lori Province arrived at the scene but were unable to locate the citizen. They divided into several groups to begin monitoring all bridges in the city of Vanadzor.

After some time, the citizen was found in the Railwaymen's Park adjacent to the Vanadzor train station. He was taken to the Taroni division of the Vanadzor police, where materials are being prepared regarding the incident.
