Famous Journalist Hit by Car in Yerevan

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, an accident occurred in Yerevan on May 4. Around 4:20 PM, Karen Sargsyan, a 36-year-old resident of the Nor Nork administrative district, hit a pedestrian, 69-year-old Hovhannes Ayvazyan, with his Volkswagen vehicle (license plate 36 CM 687) near the address 157/2 Davit Bek Street.

As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the injured pedestrian was transported to St. Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center for medical assistance and then transferred to Izmirlian Medical Center.

According to the media, H. Ayvazyan is a well-known intellectual and journalist, serving as an editor at the ArmenPress news agency.
