Activists Disrupt Presentation of 'My Body is Personal' Book
A group of activists today disrupted the presentation of the book 'My Body is Personal,' which they claim promotes corruption among children.
The book is intended for children aged 3-6 and their parents, illustrating 'dangerous and bad touches' on a child's body through pictures.
Among the activists was Vahagn Chakhalyan, who has already been summoned by the police regarding this matter.
According to 'Urgent,' the investigator refused to allow me to approach on Monday. There is no need to gather; I will approach with a lawyer and inform about further developments.
Note: Our cause is just; everything we do is for the future of our children. We will fight until victory.
Moreover, I am AGAINST the physical annihilation of our PEOPLE, and I oppose the 'soft power genocide' of the 21st century,” he wrote.
According to the 'Crisis Center for Sexual Violence' NGO, one of the event's organizers, the book aims to raise awareness to prevent sexual violence against children.
The NGO released a statement on its Facebook page, informing that around 25 individuals stormed the venue during the event and disrupted it.
“Among them were Lia Avetisyan, Hayk Ayvazyan, Hayk Nahapetyan, and others. A number of men, including Vahagn Chakhalyan, threw eggs at the participants near the entrance of the 'Bukinist' café,” the text of the statement reads, as reported by Tert.am.
