Today, on May 5, a major traffic accident and explosion occurred in the Armavir region. Around 00:10, on the Armavir - Yerevan highway, near the section leading from the village of Arshaluys to Aknalich, an Opel vehicle with license plate 35 XU 406 collided with a ZIL vehicle with license plate 351 US 29, which was loaded with gas cylinders.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, emergency workers are at the scene.
