Intern at Beauty Salon Hands Over Key to Acquaintance for Theft

On February 26, a woman contacted the Kumayri police department to report that between 7:00 PM on February 25 and 10:00 AM on February 26, individuals had unlawfully entered her beauty salon by opening a window with technical tools and stolen a laptop and hair removal device.

The police announced that as a result of measures undertaken by the Kumayri criminal investigation department to uncover the crime, operational data was utilized, leading to the detention of 25-year-old Ashot T. and 39-year-old Anna K., who was undergoing an internship at the beauty salon, on May 3 at 3:20 PM under suspicion of theft. It was revealed that Anna K. had handed over the key to the entrance door of the beauty salon to Ashot T. by prior agreement, who then committed the theft.

The stolen hair removal device was recovered, while the laptop was reported by Ashot T. to have fallen and broken when he left the salon.

Ashot T. and Anna K. have been presented to the investigative body.
