Gold Chain Stolen from Apartment, Suspect Reports to Police

On May 2, at 20:00, a report was received at the Mashtots police station indicating that between 11:00 and 20:00 on the same day, an individual had managed to open the door lock of an apartment in Davtashen using technical means, entered, and stolen a gold chain, causing damage amounting to 70,000 drams.

The police report that officers who arrived on the scene took a statement from the victim.

Thanks to the operational-investigative measures undertaken by the criminal investigation department of the Davtashen police, it was established that the crime had been committed by the same individual who reported the incident to the police, one Marat S. Following explanatory discussions, he presented himself to the Mashtots police station on May 3, at 20:00.

Efforts are being made to recover the stolen property.

The circumstances are under investigation.
