Details of Stabbing Incident Near Nightclub

On May 1, at 04:10, the Artashat police department received a report from the hospital that a 34-year-old man had come in for treatment with "stab-wound to the left side of the body and cut wound to the right wrist."

This information was provided by the Public Relations and Information Department of the RA Police. The responding operational team discovered that the man sustained his injuries around 03:00 that same day during a dispute near a nightclub located at the entrance of Mrgavan village. He had been attacked with a sharp cutting and stabbing object.

The victim refused to file a report. Thanks to the operational-search measures and explanatory work conducted by the Artashat criminal investigators, a 27-year-old man named Armen S. voluntarily came to the police station on May 3 at 16:50. It was revealed that during the altercation near the nightclub, Armen S. was the one who used a knife to injure the man. Efforts are underway to locate the weapon used in the crime.
