Young Man in Military Uniform Transferred to Hospital with Gunshot Wound

An emergency incident occurred a short while ago in Yerevan. According to SHAMSHYAN.com, a young man has been transferred to Yerevan's Mkhitar Heratsi Hospital with a gunshot injury to the left side of his chest.

As reported by the media outlet, the individual is dressed in military uniform, approximately 23-25 years old, and was taken to the hospital from an area adjacent to the Kanaker military unit. Currently, the young man is undergoing surgery.

According to G. Shamshyan, the injured individual is a 24-year-old resident of Kotayk Province, named Narek S., who is a contract serviceman. A note was found in the pocket of his military uniform. At this time, investigators from the Military Investigation Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia and the Investigative Committee of Armenia have arrived at the hospital.
