A Poem Found in the Pocket of an Injured Soldier

It was recently reported that a contract soldier with a gunshot wound to the left side of the chest has been transferred to the Mikayelian Surgical Hospital in Yerevan.

Shamshyan.com added that the wounded soldier is 24-year-old Narek S. from the Kotayk region, who is currently serving as a contract soldier. A poem was discovered in the pocket of his military uniform.

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, informed us in an interview that the contract soldier is currently undergoing surgery. “He sustained a gunshot wound today,” noted Mr. Hovhannisyan.
