KamAZ and Skoda Collide in Chayni Bend: 6 Injured

Today, on April 17, at 10:15 AM, emergency services received a call regarding an accident that occurred on the 24th km of the Yerevan-Sevan highway, in the Chayni bends, with multiple injuries reported. An ambulance was requested for the scene.

The special rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations has been dispatched to the site.

It has been determined that at the 24th km of the M-4 highway section between Yerevan and Sevan, vehicles of the KamAZ model (driver: V.G., born in 1957) and Skoda model (driver: V.A., born in 1977) collided.

Before the rescuers arrived, the drivers were hospitalized at the Abovyan city hospital, where doctors assessed their condition as satisfactory.

Passengers A.H. (born in 1997), A.P. (born in 1975), and A.P. (born in 1981) were transferred to the St. Gregory the Illuminator Hospital in Yerevan, while A.Sh. (born in 1993) was taken to Erebuni Hospital, where he received necessary treatment and was discharged.

Rescuers have disconnected the KamAZ vehicle from the power supply.
