Mikael Nahapetyan: What is David Sanasaryan Discussing with Mayors That They Are Resigning?

Member of the executive body of the ‘Citizen's Decision’ party, Mikael Nahapetyan, wrote on his Facebook page: “I am very curious what our good friend David Sanasaryan is discussing with mayors that they are resigning. Brother, you have a constitutional majority in the parliament — either enshrine the legal mechanism for recall, or keep a notebook from now on, as later you will have to write in detail which authority you were ‘discussing’ under.”

“The local self-government is a constitutional institution, just like the National Assembly, and an official appointed by the Prime Minister designated by the National Assembly cannot freely ‘discuss’ with local self-governments like that.”
