Judges Raise Alarm: Internal Disputes Continue

Internal disputes within the judicial system continue to persist. According to information received by the newspaper Haykakan Zhamanak, some judges from the general jurisdiction court of Ararat and Vayots Dzor regions lack computers and printers to perform their work. Moreover, a judge had already reached out to both the regional court staff and the judicial department last year regarding this issue. It was promised that the problems would be resolved by January, yet we are now in April, and the judge remains without technical resources.

The newspaper Haykakan Zhamanak spoke with Lilith Hovhannisyan, the head of the staff of the general jurisdiction court of Ararat and Vayots Dzor regions, who stated in response that all technical resources are provided and they do not have such problems. Meanwhile, the judges, whose names we cannot disclose for reputable reasons, are approaching us and asking for help, as their superiors do not take action to ensure even basic working conditions.
