Famous Cognac Shop Owner Murdered in Ejmiadzin
Today, April 13, a murder with particular brutality occurred in the Armavir region. Around 18:00, the Vagarshapat police department received a report that there was a male corpse in one of the apartments at 10 Mashtots Street in the city of Ejmiadzin.
According to photographer Gagik Shamshyan from the crime scene, police and investigators found the body of the homeowner, 81-year-old Gagik Baghdasaryan, in the bedroom of the apartment on the 2nd floor of the specified building.
According to the preliminary conclusion of the forensic expert, the body has numerous injuries. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. The photographer reports that the deceased was found in the bedroom with duct tape on his mouth, and his hands and feet bound, with multiple bodily injuries.
All rooms in the house were completely ransacked, and the garage belonging to the deceased was also robbed of his Lexus vehicle, alongside his well-known cognac shop in Ejmiadzin, which was completely looted.
