Dispute Among Schoolchildren in Gyumri Ends in Stabbing

On April 12, around 22:00, schoolchildren with stab wounds were transported to the "Gyumri Austrian Mother and Child Hospital." This was reported by SHANTNEWS.am correspondent.

The hospital director, Ashot Kurginyan, informed our correspondent that three boys sought medical assistance: 16-year-old Narek Msrdyan, 16-year-old Vahagn Avetisyan, and 18-year-old Vahan Ghazaryan. Two of them sustained stab wounds in various parts of their bodies. Following outpatient treatment, two of the boys were discharged. Vahan Ghazaryan is still in the hospital, and doctors are assessing his condition as moderately serious.

According to SHANTNEWS.am's correspondent, the boys are residents of the same neighborhood, from different buildings on Trdat Architect street. The Mush police department informed our correspondent that the case is under investigation, and operational investigative activities are being carried out to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
