Video: Employee Who Filmed Citizen Passing Through Baggage Scanner Dismissed
An employee at the Bagratashen customs checkpoint has been dismissed after filming a citizen passing through a baggage scanner and sharing the video.
According to Lusine Mkrtchyan, head of the Public Relations and Information Department of the State Revenue Committee (SRC), the employee wrote a resignation letter following the incident. The SRC president had ordered an internal investigation to look into the details of the case. During the investigation, the employee who filmed the incident voluntarily submitted a resignation letter, which was accepted. As a result, the internal investigation has been suspended.
It is worth noting that the incident took place at the Bagratashen customs point under the Eastern Customs Administration.
Recall that a few days ago, a video circulated on the internet and in the media showing a citizen passing through a baggage scanner at a border checkpoint alongside their luggage.
